There is so much going on in the world today, and we are faced with so many challenges. But some of us are faced with challenges heavier than others: Trouble connecting with Allah (God), lack of purpose, bullying, domestic abuse, death of a loved one, war, suicide, and more. How can one grapple with such serious challenges? Sometimes, more than reading a self-help article or getting advice, we're looking for something to relate to, an example. We hope that this collection of 11 emotive historical fiction stories will deliver just that: Some much-needed healing and comfort for the soul. Journey through the Islamic world with us, as each story takes place in a different Muslim culture and society (including Levantine, Malay, Ottoman, Mysorian, Hui, Caucasian, Berber, Nigerian, and more), as our protagonists draw strength from the Quran to overcome the odds. Experience a unique style of visual storytelling with minimal dialogues, instead highlighting the emotions and flow, creating room for a fun interpretation exercise as you intuitively try to figure out the story, and most importantly, bringing more focus to the ayaat of the Ouran. OR codes at the start of each story provide more context and colour. Recommended for teens and young adults, and an engaging activity to do with kids, students, or among spouses.

Author Hussain is a CTO by day, taking care of the engineering side of things for various clients, and a creative at night (and weekends), working on comic books and graphic novels. His vision is to create content that centers and promotes Islam and Muslim cultures, showing their richness, wisdom, and diversity.

The goal of the content is not just to share entertaining stories, but also content that leads to introspection, discussion, and most importantly, healing and transformation.

His first book, Sababa, a collection of comic short stories, is out now, and he is now working on a more mature graphic novel series.
